Our features this month begin with a story about ‘Modernising maize: how technology is enhancing our staple grain’ from Selin C., Product Management & Marketing Maize, Bühler Group Milling Solutions.
This is followed by a piece from Jyothsna Nelloolichalil discussing ‘Revolutionising Optical Sorting: Satake’s unique Multi NIR Technology’ This story is possible thanks to the fact that our team was lucky enough to visit the SATAKE site in England and see their machines in action for ourselves. You definitely do not want to miss this article!
For those of our readers with particular interest in the events that are running around our industry, we have a report on Indo Livestock, which took place recently, written by David Harvey. This was a spectacular event which the Milling and Grain team was in attendance for, and this report should catch you up on anything you may have missed whether you were in attendance or not.
It was a busy month for news, however we believe that we have managed to gather all of the biggest and best news for our readers, such as the news that ‘Feed from gas project takes big step forward with pilot facility launch’ a are project that could transform food production!
Finally, this month Milling and Grain was lucky enough to interview Mr Haluk Tezcan Chairman of the Turkish Flour Industrialists Federation. This was a tremendous honour for us to be given this opportunity and we were able to discuss many topics with Mr Tezcan, such as the challenges and opportunities for the Turkish industry, sustainability, the future of the industry and much more.
