The Build My Feedmill conference, organised by Milling & Grain in partnership with VIV Worldwide, will be held on 27 November 2025, 10 am, at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi, as part of VIV MEA 2025. The conference will be held at Capital Suite 16.
The conference follows the operational flow of a feed mill – covering every stage, from raw intake to finished packaging. Each step is presented by experts in 10-minute slots, allowing attendees to zero in on the technical and practical considerations at each juncture. The program is as follows:
| 09:00 – 10:00 | Registration | ||
| 10:00 – 10:10 | Introduction | Roger Gilbert | |
| 10:10- 10:20 | Conveying, Storage and dedusting | Wim Delameilleure | SCE |
| 10:20-10:30 | Weighing and dosing | Bas Versluis | KSE |
| 10:30 – 10:40 | Grinding | Joseph Barbi | E.S.E |
| 10:40 – 10:50 | Mixing | Chadi El Halabi | Buhler |
| 10:50 – 11:00 | Pelleting Technology | Luc Ottink | Ottevanger |

| 11:10 – 11:20 | Grain Cooling | Simon Kolb | Frigortec |
| 11:20 – 11:30 | Coating and post pelleting | Marco Prati | PLP |
| 11:30 – 11:40 | Automation & Control Systems | TBC | |
| 11: 40 – 11:50 | Discussion & QnA |
This format mirrors how a feed mill really works – ingredients are first conveyed and cleaned, then weighed and dosed, then ground and mixed, followed by pelleting or extrusion, drying, coating, bagging and finally, controlled via automation systems.
The Build My Feedmill conference gives equipment suppliers and technologists a platform to present their solutions that enhance performance at each step.
The overarching goal of the conference is to empower feed mill operators, particularly in developing regions, to build purpose-built, efficient, sustainable mills that support food security.
