Minebea Intec has released the PR 6003 mounting kit, a new solution designed to simplify and strengthen silo weighing in industrial environments.
The kit supports a wide load range from 500 kg to 75 tonnes and is designed to maintain measurement reliability under external stress factors such as wind, seismic activity, and vibration. It is available in either mild or stainless steel to suit different environmental conditions.
Key features include high resistance to horizontal and uplift forces, with ratings of up to 82 kN and 120 kN, respectively. An optional wind and earthquake calculation tool is also offered to assist with silo structure planning.
Designed for ease of installation, the PR 6003 includes a dummy function that allows mounting without the load cell and an optional jack-up tool for lifting the silo without external equipment. Weighing under 20 kg, the compact unit can be installed by one person.
Minebea Intec says the product builds on the success of its earlier PR 6001 model, offering more functionality and reduced installation effort.
