Imas has achieved a notable position as the 772nd largest exporter in Türkiye, according to recent data from the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly (TIM). This ranking, announced in July 2025, highlights Imas’s dominance in the grain and feed milling machinery sector, maintaining its status as the country’s top exporter in this industry.
Having built a strong reputation over 35 years, Imas continues to excel, achieving the ‘Export Leader of Türkiye’ title again in 2024, following substantial export growth in 2023. The company outperformed its competitors significantly in total export value, which underscores its robust global presence in the milling technology market.
Imas not only manufactures a complete range of grain and feed milling machinery but also executes turnkey projects worldwide. With over 500 projects in its portfolio and exports to more than 120 countries across five continents, the company has established itself as a leader in the field. Among its significant achievements is the ‘Mega Mill’ project in Nigeria, operational since 2023, which boasts a capacity of 2400 tonnes per day. Another such facility, currently under installation in Nigeria, will have a capacity of 3200 tonnes per day.
In addition to its export achievements, Imas is recognised as a frontrunner in research and development. Since 2015, the company has been listed among the ‘Top 250 R&D Leaders of Türkiye,’ and since 2021, it has consistently ranked among the ‘Top 10 R&D Leaders’ in the Turkish machinery sector, based on R&D investments.
