Imas, a Turkish manufacturer of feed and grain milling systems, has completed a new 10 tonnes-per-hour turnkey feed milling project for Agri-Milling Stockfeeds in Zimbabwe, according to the company.
The opening ceremony of the plant was held on 5 August 2026, with the African nation’s President Emmerson Mnangagwa in attendance. The president applauded the company’s growing market share, job creation and integrated value chain model.
The mill, built on a turnkey basis, includes the steel building which was also designed, manufactured and constructed by the Turkish company. The plant is managed via a central automation system, which allows integrated monitoring of the entire process from intake to packaging. The system provides real-time data on production quantities, yields and consumption, ensuring efficiency and operational transparency.

According to Imas, the automation technology allows the company’s after-sales team to connect to the plant remotely at any time for technical support, including troubleshooting and check-ups.
Agri-Milling, operating under Davipel Holdings, is a growing agricultural processing brand in Zimbabwe. Its stockfeed division produces feed for a wide range of animal species including broilers, layers, pigs, rabbits, beef and dairy cattle. The company’s maize milling portfolio includes maize meal, instant porridges and corn snacks.
The project is the first fully automated feed mill in the country, according to the manufacturer.
