Greencore partners with QA to launch Data Academy

Irish food company Greencore has partnered with QA to launch a Data Academy aimed at improving data literacy within the company. The initiative is part of Greencore’s five-year strategy to integrate data skills across all levels of the business, from entry-level employees to advanced data engineers.

The academy is designed to help employees use data more effectively, aligning people, processes, technology, and skills. The program addresses current skills gaps and is expected to provide business benefits, including a potential £6.7 million contribution to the UK economy.

Natalie Rogers, Director of Talent, Development and Inclusion at Greencore, stated that the partnership aligns with the company’s goals for growth. Jo Bishenden, Managing Director at QA, highlighted that the investment in skills training will result in operational and economic improvements.

The Data Academy is intended as a long-term investment in Greencore’s workforce, with the aim of enhancing both technological capabilities and operational efficiency.
