De Heus Expands in Asia with Acquisition of CJ Feed & Care

De Heus Animal Nutrition has completed its acquisition of CJ Feed & Care from CJ Cheil Jedang, marking a significant expansion of its feed production footprint in Asia. The transaction includes 17 feed mills and operations across Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, South Korea and the Philippines as part of the company’s growth strategy in the region.

The expansion strengthens De Heus’s presence in key Southeast Asian markets where it already supplies animal nutrition products, while establishing direct access to South Korea and the Philippines. Pending regulatory approvals, the acquisition was finalised in early 2026.

The company said the integration aims to enhance its ability to provide nutrition solutions, technical support and services to livestock and aquaculture farmers across the region. The combined operations will supply a broader range of feed and related products to customers in multiple countries.

Gabor Fluit, CEO of De Heus, described the acquisition as an important step in advancing the company’s long‑term strategy in Asia, combining the company’s global experience in animal nutrition with CJ Feed & Care’s established local presence.
