BUA Group has signed a new agreement with Viteral, a subsidiary of Imas Group of Companies, for the construction of two complete feed mill projects in Nigeria with a combined capacity of 40 tons per hour (TPH).
Building on years of fruitful cooperation on massive ‘Mega Mill’ projects around the nation, the agreement represented another significant milestone in the long-standing partnership between BUA Group and Imas. Imas will now expand its experience to feed milling through its specialised subsidiary, Viteral, after completing several flour mill projects for BUA Group with a total capacity of 5,600 tonnes per day (TPD) nationally. Imas will carry out the feed mill projects under the contract on a turnkey basis, which includes design, production, installation, and commissioning. The projects were promptly added to Imas’ manufacturing schedule after the contract was signed and the down payment was received. The equipment is anticipated to be delivered in around six months.
On December 1, 2025, the agreement ceremony was held in the Middle East Office of BUA Group in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Mr. Mustafa Ozdemir, Vice Chairman of Loras Holding, represented Viteral, and Mr. Abdul Samad Rabiu, Founder and Executive Chairman of BUA Group, were present. Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Ozdemir expressed appreciation for the continued collaboration. “We express our sincere gratitude to BUA Group for their trust and ongoing business partnership. We are excited to be part of BUA Group’s continuous expansion drive, which also creates inspiring new business opportunities for us,” he said.
Mr. Ozdemir also emphasised Imas’s plans to increase its local presence, pointing out that the company will soon open a country office in Nigeria. The office will concentrate on offering after-sales services and local spare parts, especially for the flour and feed mills that BUA Group operates throughout Nigeria.
As one of this year’s “Top 1,000 Exporters of Turkiye,” Imas Group of Companies is currently Turkey’s top company in grain and feed milling technologies. Through the creation of additional subsidiaries, such as Milleral for grain milling technologies, Viteral for feed milling technologies, and Cuteral for steel structure buildings, the group has further reinforced its expansion plan.
In the meantime, BUA Group is still essential to the industrial and economic growth of Africa. In order to promote effective food production and long-term growth throughout the continent, the organisation continues to be focused on innovation, sustainability, and contemporary technology through strategic investments in foods, infrastructure, and real estate.
