Brasil to showcase record number of companies at IPPE 2025

Thirteen Brazilian companies will participate in the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) 2025, set to take place from 28 to 30 January in Atlanta, Georgia. This marks the largest Brazilian presence at the event, which focuses on the animal protein production and processing industry. The companies are part of the Brazil Machinery Solutions (BMS) project, a collaboration between the Brazilian Machinery Builders’ Association (ABIMAQ) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).

The BMS initiative aims to boost Brazil’s share of the global market for machinery and equipment used in animal protein processing, emphasizing high productivity and low environmental impact. This year’s participation includes a new layout with two separate pavilions to better highlight the technologies and equipment used in the sector. The project is expected to exceed the US$ 16.6 million in exports generated during the 2024 event.

IPPE is recognised as the world’s largest exhibition for the animal protein sector, attracting over 1,400 exhibitors from more than 130 countries. It serves as a key platform for networking and business expansion, especially in the US market, the second-largest consumer of animal protein globally. In 2024, Brazilian companies saw an 11.5% growth in exports to the US.

Patrícia Gomes, Executive Director of Foreign Market at ABIMAQ, emphasized that Brazil’s participation at IPPE 2025 offers significant opportunities for expanding business and reinforcing the country’s reputation as a leader in innovative, sustainable machinery solutions for the animal protein industry.

The BMS initiative continues to highlight Brazil’s strength in the sector, offering advanced technologies designed to optimise production and minimise environmental impact, ensuring efficiency and competitiveness in the global market.
