AFIA Promotes Senior Director of Feed Manufacturing

The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) has promoted Gary Huddleston to senior director of feed manufacturing and regulatory affairs, effective 1 May, recognising his expertise in feed safety and regulatory guidance for AFIA members.

Huddleston manages AFIA’s regulatory efforts involving the Food and Drug Administration, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Transportation. He also assists in developing AFIA’s education programmes and has been recognised as a top 10 FSPCA instructor for training over 1000 participants across four Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance training curricula.

“We are thrilled to announce the promotion of three exceptional team members at the AFIA,” said Constance Cullman, AFIA President and CEO. “These promotions recognize each individual’s expertise, dedication and commitment to serving our members by providing high-quality regulatory guidance, educational programs and events.”

Huddleston joined AFIA in May 2015 following more than 30 years of service in feed manufacturing.

AFIA also promoted Jessica Morse to senior director of meetings and events, and Lynette Tucker to senior manager of meetings and sponsorships.

Morse, who has been with the association for five years, plays a key role in planning AFIA’s major conferences including the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE), Purchasing and Ingredient Suppliers Conference, and Feed Industry Institute. Tucker, who joined AFIA in 2019, coordinates meetings and events including the Pet Food Conference and Liquid Feed Symposium.
