Utrix has announced a regional expansion to address poultry farming challenges in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), increasing production capacity, opening new offices, and launching targeted feed solutions.
The company has opened a regional office and warehouse in Abu Dhabi to serve Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and a new office in Jordan to support sales and product registration in non-GCC markets. Its distributor network has also grown. Utrix has expanded from 60 employees in 2020 to over 140 in 2025.
Michel Daher, Business Support Director, said Utrix’s regional knowledge helps it tackle challenges such as climate and feed quality. “We are committed to solutions that support bird performance, health, and efficiency,” he said.
Exports rose from 10% of production between 2015 and 2022 to 18% in early 2025. The company aims to reach 35% by year-end. To support this, Utrix is adding a second shift and hiring more staff at its Zahle facility, which has four automated lines producing premixes, concentrates, and additives.
Utrix is also expanding its product range to address health and performance issues, including solutions for heat stress and smaller farms lacking feed mills. The company is introducing liquid feed additives for easy use via drinking water.
Looking ahead, Utrix plans to develop feed solutions for large livestock, including dairy cows, to address heat and efficiency issues in the region.
