The latest edition of Milling and Grain is now available online, in-print and on our app!

We begin this edition with a feature about ‘Near-Infrared SpectroscopyAnalysis of Grain and Wheat Quality’ which was written by Naciye Sari, Chemical Engineer, Bastak Instruments, Türkiye.

For our readers that are more keen on feed than flour, we also have an excellent story from Jyothsna Nelloolichalil, Operations Manager, Milling and Grain, India, which focuses on ‘Boosting Poultry Performance: The Power of Yeast in Nutrition and Gut Health’

As always, we have a packed event section this month with plenty for you to either catch-up on or prepare for, with both a report on the International Production & Processing Expo, written by Shannon Parsons and a preview of VIV Asia where Milling and Grain will also be providing the latest information in the industry for aquatic feed, pet and aquatic extrusion and feed milling technology through three separate conferences. On 11March 2025, will be two all day conferences, the Aquatic conference for the latest is Asia’s aquatic industry, and Petfood and Aquafeed Extrusion which is also co-organised with Dr Mian Riaz. On 13March, will be Build my Feedmill, a free to attend conference for two hours.

Finally, this month Milling and Grains was lucky enough to interview Emilie Fontaine, Vice President Brand & Products, Jefo. Emilie has a rich career in the industry and we were able to sit down and talk to her about feed nutrition, sustainability, the affect of tariffs on the industry as well as much more!
