Symaga Increases CSR Investment by 140 Percent

Symaga, a Spanish manufacturer of galvanised steel silos, has announced a 140 percent increase in its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) budget.

The investment will support initiatives across six areas: team wellbeing, local community, education, equality, environment, industrial innovation and the company’s stated mission to help feed the world.

The company states that the increased funding will be directed toward training and wellbeing programmes for employees, collaborations with universities and educational institutions, equality and inclusion initiatives, environmental projects focused on energy efficiency and waste reduction, and digitalisation and industrial innovation.

Symaga also states it will continue to support social projects and charitable organisations that improve quality of life and facilitate access to basic resources in different communities.

In a statement, the company said: “At Symaga, we believe that business success is all the more valuable when it contributes to the progress of people and communities.”

The company added that building a more sustainable future is “a shared responsibility.”
