Silos Spain Expands Its Presence in Latin America with New Projects

Silos Spain have announced their growth in Latin America, strengthening their footprint across the region with several major grain storage projects. Currently, they are assembling a corn storage plant in Bolivia, where they have also completed the first phase of a soybean processing facility. In Panama, they’re making progress on a rice storage plant, while in Mexico, they are carrying out a maize storage plant. Soon, they will begin assembling new facilities in Costa Rica, Peru, and Chile, adding to those already operational in Argentina and Colombia. The company says that these projects reflect their dedication to providing comprehensive, market-specific storage solutions on a global scale.

The company believes that what sets their products apart is their innovative ProMag coating, a cutting-edge aluminium, magnesium, and zinc alloy that offers exceptional durability and corrosion resistance, even in the most challenging environments. ProMag also supports sustainability by reducing zinc usage and extending the lifespan of our silos, ensuring outstanding performance over time.

Silos Spain specialises in engineering and manufacturing metal silos and grain storage plants, along with designing grain handling equipment, water tanks, and farm silos for feed or biomass. With a strong focus on quality and safety, their products are built to withstand the toughest conditions. Since their inception, following the acquisition of Silos Córdoba’s assets by the URBAS Group, we have installed over 20,000 silos worldwide. Leveraging URBAS’s expertise, our experienced team, and state-of-the-art technology, Silos Spain is committed to meeting the growing demand for efficient and sustainable storage solutions.
