Hamlet Protein awarded at Chinese Companion Animal Conference

Hamlet Protein, a global player in soy-based protein ingredients for young animals, has received an award at the 6th Companion Animal Food Ingredients Conference (CAFIC 2025) in Suzhou, Jiangsu. The accolade recognises the company’s role in advancing technology within the Chinese companion animal industry.

The conference drew over 600 participants from the companion animal nutrition sector, providing Hamlet Protein with a prime platform to engage with industry leaders and researchers.

Dr. Eugene Li, the company’s technical manager, delivered a presentation titled “How high-quality protein ingredients support gut health in pets.” He addressed audience questions related to trial data, gut development, palatability, and amino acid profiles during a Q&A session.

In addition to the presentation, the Hamlet Protein team participated in discussions at their booth, exploring how their innovative solutions can enhance the health and performance of pets.

Commercial Director Lu Kelun stated: “These conferences provide us with a great opportunity to share our knowledge and latest insights from our global operation with the Chinese pet industry. At the same time, we are learning more about the dynamics in the Chinese companion animals’ market so we can address challenges and opportunities in a better way. We are honoured to receive the recognition from the organisers for our contribution and commitment to the industry.”

Hamlet Protein manufactures soy-based protein ingredients for various animal feeds at its plants in Denmark and the U.S., serving customers worldwide.
