One of the most reputable family-run millers in the UK, E.B. Bradshaw & Sons, has teamed up with Omas Industries once more to construct a brand-new, cutting-edge milling facility. This new partnership demonstrates the long-term viability of Omas’ cutting-edge milling technology, which has continuously produced superior flour quality, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
Bradshaw and Omas first collaborated in 2016, and in 2018, they put into service a fully automated “lights out” Flexy Mill that was outfitted with KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) and Direct Drive torque motor technology. Following six years of flawless operation, notable energy savings, and reliable product performance, the business is stepping up Omas’ innovation to keep up with the expanding market demand.

For optimal efficiency and low maintenance, the new mill will use Leonardo roller mills with belt-free direct drive systems. Additionally, it will be the first mill globally to use Omas’ innovative Milling Pilot system, an automated platform that ensures steady, repeatable, and energy-efficient operation through the use of load cells, infrared sensors, and sophisticated roll-gap management.
