CESCO, a global leader in grain handling and storage solutions, has made significant progress on the construction of a sustainable technological plant for Molino Chiavazza in Cuneo, northern Italy. The company has completed the installation of seven out of eleven corrugated steel sheet round silos, each measuring 12.2 metres in diameter.
These silos are designed to enhance Molino Chiavazza’s grain storage capacity while reducing environmental impact and improving energy efficiency. The completion of the first seven silos marks a key step in the development of the state-of-the-art facility.
Martino Celeghini, CEO of CESCO, noted the progress of the project, stating, “We are pleased with the speed and efficiency of our team. The first seven silos are now standing, and we are on track to complete the entire storage area by the end of March.” Celeghini added that the next steps will include the installation of steel structures and the combined train-truck intake section.
The Molino Chiavazza project highlights CESCO’s commitment to advancing sustainable operations in the grain and food industry through innovative technology and design. The new facility is expected to significantly reduce energy consumption and minimise waste throughout the grain storage and processing workflow.
