BinMaster Sensors and Technologies (BST) has announced the appointment of Ben Smith as Regional Sales Manager for the western United States and Canada.
Smith brings previous experience in field sales, day-to-day operations and sales management to the role. He will be responsible for driving adoption and awareness of the company’s level sensing, flow detection and aeration devices, as well as its software solutions for remote and on-premise bulk material monitoring.
A Nebraska native, Smith joins the Midwest-based company to collaborate with end users and distributors across multiple industries, including agricultural bulk storage, cement production, plastics manufacturing, food and beverage processing, and general inventory management applications.
His responsibilities include specifying custom inventory systems to meet customers’ safety, operational and budgetary requirements, as well as communicating with clients online, visiting sites for installation and training, and representing the company at trade shows.
