Alltech has announced its continued partnership with Expana’s Women in Food & Agriculture (WFA) Mentorship Program, with applications now open for the 2025 cohort. The program is open to female mentees and mentors of any gender from the global food and agriculture sector.
Launched in 2021, the WFA initiative has connected over 1,500 professionals worldwide. The free program aims to support women through mentorship, offering guidance, career development, and networking. It also addresses the shortage of mentors, a barrier to career advancement in the industry.
Elisabeth Mork-Eidem, Global Chair of WFA, said the program strengthens careers and organisations by creating meaningful connections. Alltech Vice President Patrick Charlton, a past mentor, emphasized that mentorship is mutually beneficial and encouraged participation.
Alltech, which committed to advancing gender equality under the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, views inclusion as essential to innovation and sustainability.
Applications are now open for both mentors and mentees. Matches will be based on individual preferences and goals.
