The first GRAPAS conference and Award for Innovation run by Milling and Grain magazine was held 10 years ago in Köln, Germany. The award was open to food processing innovations in the realm of flour, rice and pasta that were released on the market in the past two years. Nominations for the award that were shortlisted we all invited to speak about their innovation at the GRAPAS Conference – which formed part of the 2011 Victam event. Milling and Grain magazine, the oldest milling magazine still in print – and first published in 1891 – is once again holding the GRAPAS Innovation Awards at GRAPAS Europe and Victam International 2026.
The next award will be in Victam International 2026 on 2nd June 2026.

How to enter
To participate, a nomination must be an innovation, process or service suitable and applicable to flour or rice milling industry and comply with the following:
1. Have been introduced to the market after January 2019
2. Be new
3. Make a contribution to efficiency and/or safety
4. Demonstrate significant practical value
5. Applications can be made by both exhibitors and non-exhibitors
To submit your entry, please complete the application form below prior to March 27th 2026, and submit it by email to the address shown.
As the shortlist of nominations will be displayed at Victam International 2026, please be prepared to help supply a display (details of size and dimensions to be forwarded following application submission) to be set up in the Awards Area at Victam.
The Award
The winner will receive a Certificate plus a GRAPAS trophy. Runner’s Up will receive a Certificate of Achievement plus a trophy.
