Wingmen Group apply for the GRAPAS Innovations Awards
Milling and Grain magazine are especially pleased to announce we have already received a third application into the GRAPAS Innovations Awards 2020! Joining our previous applicants is Wingmen Group's Termico Silo THT solution for pest control within grains.
Wingemn Group's Termico Silo THT is a completely new technology for heat treatment application for pest control in flour or grain silos. With the Termico Silo THT, traditional fumigation with poison can be 100 percent replaced.
Compared to traditional silo fumigation, the Silo THT has a variety of advantages, including the fact that it is a 100 percent poison-free solution with no risk of product contamination, no safety risk for employees and no permit of authorities needed.
No raining is needed to use the solution, it is simple and hassle-free to use. In addition, the treatment tie is much shorter when compared to fumigation and the treatment is sustainable and environmentally friendly.
The GRAPAS Innovations Awards and Conference
March 24th, 2020 is the date to save in your calendar for the next rendition of the GRAPAS Innovations Awards and GRAPAS Innovations Conference. Taking place at VICTAM and Animal Health and Nutrition Asia, our one-day conference will bring together all entries into the Innovations Awards and provide a day of informative presentations discussing all aspects of flour, rice and pasta processing technology.
Following a successful year of awards for 2019, the GRAPAS Innovations Awards 2020 are now accepting applications. If your machinery for the flour, rice or pasta processing industry was made available to the market no earlier than in 2018 then it is eligible to enter into the GRAPAS Innovations Awards 2020.
The 2019 awards were a brilliant success with three winners crowned: Selis' DAPS System, Petkus' OptoSelector 901t and Bühler's LumoVision. Also receiving the runner-up prize was Balaguer Rolls' Optical Fluting Test 2.0, and we had other brilliant entries from companies such as Brabender, Dinnissen, Ocrim and Eye-Grain.
